Life is tough and we are all continuously bombarded with countless issues; health issues, relationship issues, environmental issues and the list goes on.
A simple way for us to start feeling more positive and empowered, is, watching our words; because words have tremendous power. Specifically, MY and THE.
When we say my migraines, my pain, my sadness, my anxiety etc.; we are making the negative conditions part of who we are; and it doesn’t have to be that way.
We can start to name the negative or difficult things or events that happen in our lives with THE and use MY when is for naming all the great or positive things we have. My ability to choose, my family, my home, my partner, my city etc. The anxiety I feel when I am overwhelmed, the pain I feel is keeping me up at night, the symptoms I feel are….
You see; when we name THE negative condition or event that we are experiencing, we are dissociating that temporary condition even if is chronic or long standing.
Changing the way we talk about ourselves and what we experience might seem simplistic; however 😊 things can feel a lot less overwhelming by just changing the way we talk about our negative.
This week I challenge you to pay attention to your words and change THE to the negative stuff and MY to the positive things that are happening for YOU!!!
May your life be filled with JOY, HEALTH AND PEACE

The natural estate of being is HEALTHY, HAPPY AND JOYFUL at all times, even when external circumstances and situations are not as we expect. We are supposed to be filled with vitality, joy and happiness. This doesn’t mean that bad things won't happen, it means that we are powerful enough to deal with all of the monkey wrenches that life throws at us.
Universal Love is the answer to all imbalances including our planet, body, animals, plants etc. One of the questions I ask my patients when we first meet is how did it all start, tell me the story; what happened? Often my patients start crying; I immediately know there is a profound emotional discord and in many cases trauma or severe stress leading to a chain of events, that prevents us from loving ourselves first and most.
This is the common denominator in most chronic disorders. We stop showing up for ourselves either because the symptoms are overwhelming, we are too tired, busy or weak to care for ourselves.
When I talk about Universal Love being the answer, this love starts with loving kindness towards ourselves first. This love is what allows our body to heal and stay healthy.
Loving kindness towards ourselves may mean taking a nap when our body feels too fatigued, saying no to people and things that don’t bring us joy. It also means a good sleeping habits, good hydration and nourishing foods to regenerate our organs and tissues.
I want you to know that you don’t have to do this alone. I am here to help!
Love, Kindness and Self Care First!
Several months ago, I met a woman who was consumed with the health of her daughter, who had all sorts of health issues. The emotional burden was really putting a toll on the entire family.
Mom looked exhausted. I wondered when she had last slept.
"I don't sleep," she answered. "I'll sleep when things settle down."
"You know, you matter too," I said. It just came out.
She looked at me as if I had just spoken in another language.
"You do," I said. "I know you're worried about your daughter, and I'm sorry that you are going through this. But you are also important. You matter too."
Her eyes welled up, and we continued to chat about other things. But I could clearly see the startled realization in her face as she shifted into a place of being back in her body for a moment, and assessed the toll that all this stress was having on her physical being.
What we focus on, expands. Bring your focus and attention to one focal point, and everything around it shrinks into nothing. Look at a sunset, and the world around you ceases to exist for a few minutes as you place all of your attention on it.
Conversely, when your attention and focus is on a negative situation, the anxiety and stress around it becomes your world. In a way, your physical body ceases to exist, at least temporarily. You forget that your physical being needs nourishment and rest and support.
You matter too.
To support others, you yourself must be supported. When you are starving to death, you don't have the resources to feed someone else.
Our energy feeds into the energy of others. If you don't believe me, think of the last time your boss, spouse, or friend had a terrible day and took it out on you. How quickly did you shift from your "normal" state to a grumpy, angry version of yourself? Pretty quickly, I'll bet.
If you find yourself in the role of caretaker, the best thing you can do for the person you are supporting is to nourish yourself. Not just for your sake, but for theirs, as well.
The woman I mentioned above ended up booking a session with me. She left looking as if the weight of the world had melted away. And the next time I saw her, she couldn't stop talking about how happy her daughter was that she had seen me. How excited she was that her mom was doing something for herself, for a change.
If you are looking for a way to get replenished and walk away a slightly better version of yourself than you were before, book a free consultation with me.
The common misconception is that inflammation is “bad”. And, it’s just that…
Our bodies are designed to heal. In fact, every single second of every single day you’re alive - even going back to your conception - you’ve been healing. So, there’s a process to healing, just like there’s a process for everything else in our bodies. And, like all processes, there are stages. It just so happens that inflammation is the FIRST stage in the healing process.
Wait… Did I just say inflammation was actually part of the HEALING process? Yup.
Just like a rain storm is the first stage in the natural process of plants receiving life giving water, inflammation is the first stage in the natural process of your cells receiving the resources they need to repair damage to themselves.
So… inflammation is - in a sense - GOOD. It is a reflection of a body TRYING TO HEAL.
In fact, as long as things are inflamed it means your body is still fighting, it’s still trying to regenerate and restore itself. So, why then, does everyone yammer on and on about inflammation being bad? Because they don’t really understand the truth.
Inflammation itself is just inflammation. It’s a sign your body wants to heal. What’s “bad” or - more accurately - “harmful” is when inflammation becomes chronic. WHY?
Because it means your body isn’t healing.
Is the solution to just pour “anti-inflammatory” drinks and pills into your body? Actually no it isn’t. The solution is to figure out WHY your body is ALWAYS working so hard to heal itself.
The fire department doesn’t go out unless someone puts in an emergency call. If the fire department is continually getting called to put out fires 24/7 with no rest or pause, the solution isn’t to hire more firefighters. The solution is to figure out why the hell there are so many fires Same holds true for inflammation. Inflammation is the “fire alarm” of the body. Turning off the fire alarm doesn’t make the cause of the fires go away.
And, if any of your friends or loved ones might benefit from this info, I'd love if you forward this message to them so I can share these valuable tips with them.
As always, we are truly grateful for your support and we're here if you or your loved ones need help.
Sincerely, Dr. Rosanna De La Cruz

Thyroid disorders, anxiety, endometriosis, difficulty conceiving, PCOS, diabetes, menopause, perimenopause, insomnia are all conditions that involve hormonal imbalance. Often affecting our daily activities and taking away the joy from doing the things we love most. I love helping my patients with Hormonal Imbalance, because I have suffered with a Thyroid disorder. In 2013 I started feeling lassitude, lack of energy, constipation, hair loss, insomnia, anxiety and rapid weight gain. I struggled with my daily activities and handling my work life balance. I often criticized my efforts and actions towards taking care of myself.
This is when I started to learn about the difference between responsibility and blame. Responsibility is empowering, and blame is fear. If you are living a life with high stress levels, lack of inspiration and motivation to take your life to the next level, poor lifestyle and dietary choices. There is hope. Your body has the ability to heal ITSELF. Every day in very perfect and magical ways all the cells in your body are working to heal and restore you.

1. Sleep 7-8 Hours at Night
Sleep is very important for regeneration of our organs. Hormones like ghrelin and leptin, only get balanced during sleep. These hormones play a major part in the inflammation causing migraines.
2. Drink 8-12 Cups of Water a Day
Our body’s composition is 60% water. Our brain is floating in a fluid composed of 70% water and our cells are constantly working for us. When our organs and tissues are dehydrated we increase the triggers for migraines. Water is medicine.
3. Dietary Changes
The foods we consume are directly related to our wellbeing. Keep a journal of foods and events prior to a migraine.

Autoimmune diseases were “named a major women’s health issue by the Office of Research on Women’s Health at the National Institutes of Health (NIH”).
The organs, or the immune system, are also known as lymphatic organs because they in charge of the growth, development and actions of white cells or lymphocytes. These cells act as warriors for our immune system response. These organs are connected through lymphatic vessels and communicate via lymph fluids.
The organs that compose our immune system include:
